This past Wednesday was my mother’s 83rd birthday.  Three years ago my sister & I threw her an 80th Surprise birthday party.  It was not easy making all the arrangements when neither one of us live where she does.  But it turned out great & I think she was surprised!

I’m trying to make a “blinkie”, we’ll see if it works.

My grand-daughter is ready for Easter.  She has her personalized easter basket all prepared with grass in it. Her mommy & aunt have a monogram shop so she has a lot of personalized stuff, including her basket and dress! Now the waiting starts, which can seem like a lifetime to a four-year old.  Her only question now is ~ “Is it time yet?” Only a little over a week to go!

Well we got to do a speed scrap last night after all.  One of the ladies in the group stepped up & filled in for our regular leader since she’s still in the hospital.  Here is the scrap I did last night.  I hadn’t expected to do one so I didn’t have much prep time but I think it turned out great.
